“ Visited last weekend while camping down the road. Amazing Staff all so friendly and happy, very refreshing. Had drinks and a bowl of chips all which were lovely. What a fantastic location too by the river. Only improvement I could recommend would be the lighting in the ladies loo's it was a bit dark. Will definitely be back in the future for food as what was coming out to other tables looked really good. ”
“ Visited today for Sunday lunch. We had the Pan Seared Salmon with Risotto, small Roast Beef (the std adults is huge) with a large Pig in Blanket and Creamy Mushroom with Chilli on Sourdough. Food was excellent and very friendly staff, will defo return. ”
“ This review has been edited.......Summer 2025, the food is amazing! Would definitely recommend. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the pub itself is in a lovely location, right by the river. We ordered drinks to be told they had run out of ice! Not a great sign! Unfortunately, the food was very substandard, it just didn't seem fresh! I wouldn't return for food in a hurry but would for a quick drink by the river in the sun, hopefully with ice next time! ”
“ This is one of my favourite places to come when it’s warm and the sun is shining? It was busy but service was good. We had baguettes which came with a salad and a choice of fries or hand cut chips. I was pleasantly surprised at the price £8.50 as the baguette was large and the chips were a generous portion. ”
“ I wanted a venue that could cater for 60+ people to host my Uncle's Wake, and the staff at The Bromley rose to the occasion wonderfully. Gemma, the Manager, deserves a very special mention as she was truly outstanding Their organisation was superb, the food was lovely (well done, Louis), the service was warm and always attentive (thank you, Becky) - nothing was too much trouble for them. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the occasion even though it had a somber tone. I can not praise The Bromley highly enough and have no hesitation in recommending it others, and we will certain be returning in the near future Thank you, The Bromley staff - you have done us and my late Uncle proud !! ”
“ This place is a gem, fabulous staff very friendly food was excellent. We are not from the area but we will be returning cannot reccomend The Bromley enough, the starter Korean Chicken was delicious and as it was Friday we had Fish and Chips it was excellent too. Thank you ”
“ Friendly service, good food. Ordered 2 lots of 3x small plates for £22 which were delicious apart from the crab fish cakes which I won't be having again. Also £5 for a small bowl of fries is a bit cheeky. Looks a bit tired, needs new windows or some tlc ”
“ Great little pub with really friendly staff. We were staying close and frequented it twice whilst walking out dog up the river. We sat outside and it was a lovely evening. ”
“ Went for a walk down the river. Found this pub by chance. It was lovely! Didn't eat though as prices looked a bit high. Drinks wern't cheap either but seeing how warm the weather was we had to have a few. Nice to sit outside with a view of the river and boats going up and down. ”
“ Have eaten here several times over the last year, and the food has always been consistently tasty hot & generous. Staff all friendly & efficient, I would go more often but getting a mooring isn't always easy. ”
